Life always brings needs and personal dilemmas as we live on, which feel like impossible difficulties.

In Islam, whenever we have a specific need from Allah directly, such as health or forgiveness, or seek help through people, such as for a marriage proposal or job interview, Prophet Muhammad taught us to perform the prayer of need, known as Salatul Hajat (صلاة الحاجة).
A complete guide covering Salatul Hajat, Hajat ki Dua in Arabic, Pronunciation, and related details is below-
What is Salatul Hajat?
Salatul Hajat is a two-unit Dua, read specially for presenting an urgent need in front of Allah. You can read it privately with a focused mind, demonstrating your reliance on the Almighty’s divine power.
Hadith Source: Jami at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 479) & Sunan Ibn Majah (Hadith 1384).
The Prophet Muhammad said-
“Whoever has a need from Allah or from any of the children of Adam, let him perform ablution properly, then pray two units of prayer, then praise Allah and send blessings upon the Prophet (ﷺ), and then recite this supplication…”

Hajat ki Dua in English: “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Most Forbearing, the Most Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. I ask You for the means of Your mercy, the resolution for Your forgiveness, the benefit of every good deed, and safety from every sin. Do not leave for me any sin unforgiven, nor any worry unrelieved, nor any need that meets with Your pleasure unfulfilled, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”
