Qurbani is the sacred act of slaughtering an animal during Eid ul-Adha to remember the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Ismail.

In Islam, giving Qurbani is not just a physical act, but a profound act of worship led with clear guidelines, merciful handling, and authentic prophetic Dua.

Read this Dua with full declaration of devotion at the time before slaughtering.
Pronunciation: Innee wajjahtu wajhiya lilladhee fataras-samaawaati wal-arda haneefanw-wa maaa ana minal-mushrikeen. Inna salaatee wa nusukee wa mahyaaya wa mamaatee lillaahi Rabbil-‘aalameen. Laa shareeka lahu wa bi-dhaalika umirtu wa ana minal-muslimeen. Allahumma minka wa lak.
Dua before Slaughtering in English: “Verily, I have turned my face toward Him Who created the heavens and the earth, upright (upon pure monotheism), and I am not of the polytheists. Truly, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am of the Muslims. O Allah, this is from You and for You.”

Dua after Slaughtering
Read this Dua after slaughtering to ask Allah to accept the scrutiny from you.

Dua after Slaughtering in Hindi: “ऐ अल्लाह!
Note: If you are slaughtering for someone else or on behalf of someone else, replace “minnee” (from me) with “min [Name]” (e.g., Allahumma taqabbal min Zaid…).
