Namaz ke baad ki Dua (Dua after Namaz) – Declaration of Tawheed

Rushing away immediately after finishing the Namaz is considered contrary. The Prophet Muhammad always stayed seated to read Namaz ke baad ki Dua; it cleanses all the mistakes made during the Namaz and earns spiritual rewards.

Namaz Ke Baad Ki Dua

Immediately after ending your Namaz with Salam, say Astaghfirullah 3 times.

Astaghfirullah

(I seek forgiveness from Allah)

After this, read the Namaz ke baad ki Dua for peace.

Namaz ke baad ki Dua (Dua after Namaz)

Pronunciation: Allahumma antas-salaamu wa minkas-salaam, tabaarakta yaa dhal-jalaali wal-ikraam.

Namaz ke baad ki Dua in English: “O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of majesty and honor.”

Declaration of Tawheed

Read this declaration of gratitude, monotheism and submission:

Pronunciation: Laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer. Allahumma laa maani‘a limaa a‘tayta, wa laa mu‘tiya limaa mana‘ta, wa laa yanfa‘u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd.

Translation in English: “There is no true god except Allah alone, without partner. His is the sovereignty, and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can prevent what You give, nor can anyone give what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate cannot benefit them against You.”

Ayat al-Kursi (Entry to Jannah ki Dua)

Reading Ayat al-Kursi after every compulsory Dua holds a very rare value.

Virtue & Promise: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing stands between him and entering Paradise except death.” (Sunan an-Nasa’i, Hadith 9848).

Tasbih of Fatimah (33-33-34 Dhikr)

Count these on your finger immediately after Ayat al-Kursi:

SubhanAllah (33 times) — Glory be to Allah

Alhamdulillah (33 times) — Praise be to Allah

Allahu Akbar (33 or 34 times) — Allah is the Greatest

After reading these 100 times, conclude with:

Laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.
